How To Request A Product (Sourcing)

Found a winning product that isn't on Tradelle yet? The sourcing team can try to make it available for fulfillment.

How To Submit A Request

Send your request by email to support@tradelle.io and include:

  • A direct product link from AliExpress or Alibaba (required)
  • Any details that matter: specific variant, color, size, or bundle

A sourcing link is required because the team contacts manufacturers directly. A link to a competitor's store alone isn't enough to locate the manufacturer.

What Happens Next

The sourcing team contacts multiple manufacturers to negotiate pricing and shipping. This takes time, and the team prioritizes one product per seller at a time, so lead with your best product.

As long as a product isn't patented, it can generally be sourced. Availability is not guaranteed, though: some products can't be shipped due to carrier restrictions (for example, certain battery products or items resembling weapons).

Once sourced, the product is added to the Fulfillment section of the dashboard, ready to import to your store.

Pricing

  • Tradelle sources directly from manufacturers at wholesale prices, which is oftentimes cheaper than AliExpress with its middleman markups.
  • Found a significantly lower price somewhere else? Share the link, and the sourcing team can double-check with the manufacturer. Price reductions can sometimes be negotiated but aren't guaranteed.
  • If you sell bundles regularly, discounted bundle pricing can be negotiated with the manufacturer. Bundles are then listed as separate variants in Shopify.

Bulk Orders & Branding

Tradelle operates on a pay-when-paid model: products are fulfilled per order, so bulk purchases aren't supported. If you've scaled to around 25+ consistent daily sales and want bulk pricing or branded packaging, Tradelle can connect you with a sourcing agent who handles that directly with the manufacturer.
