Shipping Times, Tracking & Delays
Here's everything about how Tradelle orders ship, when tracking appears, and what to do when a shipment seems stuck.
Where Orders Ship From
All orders ship from China via express air carriers. Every parcel is sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning customs duties and import taxes are already included in the prices you see on Tradelle. You don't need an EORI number or any customs registration.
How Long Delivery Takes
Average delivery is 6 to 10 business days. Some destinations vary. Mexico, for example, typically takes 8 to 15 business days.
You can check the expected delivery time for any product and destination on its product page: click on the country under Fulfillment by Tradelle.
On top of delivery time, allow for processing time, the time between your customer's order and the parcel being handed to the carrier:
- Regular plans: 1 to 3 business days (drops to 24 to 48 hours with consistent order volume)
- Pro and Lifetime Max: prioritized processing, as fast as 12 hours
Tracking
Tracking numbers appear within 1 to 3 business days after your fulfillment payment, and sync to your Shopify orders automatically. With consistent order volume this drops to 24 to 36 hours.
Third-party tracking apps like AfterShip, ParcelPanel, and Track123 work out of the box. They pull tracking data directly from Shopify, so you can offer branded tracking pages and automatic shipping notifications to your customers.
"Shipping Currently Not Available"
If a product page shows Shipping currently not available, the product is temporarily unavailable for fulfillment, usually because it's out of stock with the manufacturer or there's a carrier restriction. Check back later, or look for a similar product in Product Picks.
Country-Specific Requirements
- Mexico: parcels require the customer's TAX ID and phone number.
- Brazil: parcels require the customer's CPF/CNPJ (tax ID) and a valid phone number for customs clearance. For parcels delivered via Correios, the recipient may need to pay import duties through the Correios website or app before final delivery.
- Turkey: orders with a delivery address in Turkey can currently not be fulfilled due to regulatory changes in Turkey.
- Islands and remote areas: in rare cases, express carriers don't deliver to certain islands.
Delays: What's Normal And What Isn't
A few things that can slow a shipment down:
- Chinese New Year (mid-February): virtually all manufacturers close, industry-wide. Expect delays of up to 7+ business days on orders placed before or during this period. This is the only time of year with delays at this level.
- Carrier reshipment: rarely, a carrier rejects a parcel. When that happens, the order is reshipped with a different carrier automatically.
